For more than 40 years, Duncan Taylor has experimented with the maturation of whiskies in smaller casks, and with great success. The Octave Premium Range was launched in August 2019 and offers an extensive selection of single malt, single grain and blended malt whiskies. After a second maturation in the octave casks used, the whisky is refined and its hue, flavour and character refined. The Octave Dailuaine is matured for 11 years in oak casks and a further 3 months in octave casks. Bottled: 2020 Limited to 83 bottles.Tasting notes:Colour: Bright gold.
