The Glengoyne distillery is located in the southern Highlands of Scotland near a small river, which flows into the famous Loch Lomond. Since 1833, the distillery, which is one of the few that still produces whiskey in this part of Scotland, produces the excellent Glegoyne whiskey. Initially, this whiskey distillery was called Brunfoot Distellery, which only from the year 1907 received the name that is still valid today. With greater age, the fruitiness and intensity of Glengoyne increases. Aromas of ripe fruit combine harmoniously with the oak notes of the casks. The Glengoyne 25 Years Old The First Fill matures for 25 years in sherry casks and is bottled without color additives. Tasting notes:Color: Light amber. Nose: Red fruit, old leather, toffee, brown sugar. Taste: Soft, fruity, toffee, notes of cinnamon. Finish: Very long lasting, spicy licorice.
