The distillery's flagship Islay of Raasay Single Malt, in natural colour and not chill-filtered. Two Isle of Raasay Spirits, peated and unpeated, mature separately in first-fill Rye whiskey, fresh Chinkapin oak and first-fill Bordeaux red wine casks. These six casks combine to create the perfect dram, with pure elegance, complexity and depth of character. Each drop is distilled, matured and bottled on the Isle of Raasay using water from its own well, the Tobar na Ba Bàine (the Well of the Pale Cow). Phenolic content: 12 ppm Distilled: 11/22/2017 - 02/27/2018. Bottled: 17.08.2021 Tasting notes:Colour: Bright gold. Nose: Slightly mineral, smoky, dried cherries, notes of lemon cheese kitchens, oak, cinnamon. Taste: Toffee, red apples, cherries, salted butter, nut bread. Finish: Long lasting, creamy butterscotch, vanilla.
