The Janneau brand was founded in 1851 by Louis-Napoléon Bonapparte, Pierre-Etienne Janneau and Joseph Dubourdieu. Today, the house of Janneau is successfully managed by the fifth generation. The Armagnac is a blend of the varieties Baco, Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche. The cultivation area is the region Bas-Armagnac and the region Armagnac-Ténarèze. The distillate is stored up to 20 years in French oak barrels before it is bottled. Tasting notes:Colour: amber. Nose: figs, honey, oak, tannins, leather, caramel. Taste: Toasted raisins, spices, fruit jelly. Finish: Long lasting.
